5V series 10 groove QD (quick removal) bushing pulley applies to 5V, 5VX, 5V belt, and 5VX belts. They range in diameter from 4.40 “to 50.00”. Depending on the pulley size, they use E, F, J, or M QD bushings, which we also have in stock. Our 10 groove 5V QD pulley is mainly made of high-strength 35-grade cast iron, coated with phosphate and anti-corrosion paint. Pulley installation method:
1. Check the pulley groove to ensure that there are no scratches or sharp edges and that all dimensions meet the standards;
2. Clean the surfaces of all parts, such as hub holes, tapered sleeves, bolt holes, etc. Install the tapered sleeve into the pulley and align all screw holes.
3. Coat the screw (TB1008-TB3030) and thread (TB3525-TB5050) with engine oil and screw them into the mounting hole, but do not tighten them.
4. Clean the surface of the drive shaft, push the belt pulley with a tapered sleeve to the predetermined position on the shaft, and check whether the v-shaped belt pulley is aligned.
5. When using the keyway, it must be inserted into the hub first, and there must be a certain tolerance between the keyway and the hole hub.
6. Use a hex wrench conforming to the DIN911 standard to tighten the bolts in each mounting hole alternately, gradually, and evenly until the torque shown in the table below is reached.
7. After a short period of operation (0.5 to 1 hour), check the tightening torque of the bolts and retighten them if necessary.
8. To prevent foreign matters from invading, fill the connecting hole with grease.
Removal method of belt pulley:
1. Loosen all bolts, take out 1 or 2 bolts according to the number of removal holes, lubricate the bolt type and bolt head with engine oil, and then insert the bolts into the holes.
2. Tighten the bolts alternately until the conical sleeve and pulley are loosened.
3. Remove the tapered sleeve and pulley from the shaft.
Six advantages of tapered bushing pulley:
1. Good interchangeability: tapered sleeve pulley applies to various occasions. When the drive components are operated for a long time, the inner holes and chain grooves may be damaged. If it is a transmission part using this conical sleeve, when this happens, replace it with a conical sleeve with accurate specifications, and then it can be used again. 3. Convenient installation and removal: only a one-inch hexagon wrench is required, without other special tools. It can be completed in 1 minute, convenient and fast.
4. The allowable shaft diameter tolerance is wider:+0.05mm to -0.125mm. The groove can be equipped with V-belts, narrow V-belts, etc., and keyless transmission can be realized under light, light, and medium loads.
5. It is produced in strict accordance with the international standard DIN2211. All products have passed the balance test to avoid damage to motor bearings and equipment components due to runout.
